To touch

A touch is not neutral. A touch has impact. Touching is the foundation. That is why in massage and massage therapy we say, “you feel the intention.” This applies both to the recipient—who can find peace with a calm touch—and to me as a therapist or masseur, because I know that my intention is felt. Words about touching that I often hear back from clients during or after a session are: safety, security, warmth, peace, and caring.

Clarity in advance:

  • By appointment only, no walk-ins.
  • Book at least 6 p.m. in advance. Cancel until 24 hours in advance (emergencies per situation).
  • Booked time is longer than the hands-on time (intake, changing clothes, integration).
